Title |
Genome wide mapping of binding sites of ZBTB18 and CTBP2 in glioblastoma cancer cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
CTBP2 is a transcriptional co-repressor/co-activator palying a role in EMT. We have identified CTBP2 as a protein interacting with ZBTB18, a transcriptional repressor and tumor suppressor in GBM. Here, we have performed genome wide mapping of CTBP2 and ZBTB18 binding sites in GBM to characterized their gene regulation mechanism.

Overall design |
CTBP2 and ZBTB18 DNA binding profiles were obtained by chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by next generation sequencing from SNB19 glioblastoma cells. At least two biological replicates of each condition were analyzed. DNA isolated from chromatin not subjected to immunoprecipitation (Input) was sequenced as reference material.
