Real-time quantification of nuclear RNA export using an intracellular relocation probe
2022, Chinese Chemical LettersThe RNA binding protein QKI5 suppresses ovarian cancer via downregulating transcriptional coactivator TAZ
2021, Molecular Therapy Nucleic AcidsQKI-V5 is downregulated in CNS inflammatory demyelinating diseases
2020, Multiple Sclerosis and Related DisordersCitation Excerpt :No mutations were found in any myelin structural genes. In addition to myelin impairment, qkv mice exhibit defects in mRNA processing (Hardy, 1998; Vernet and Artzt, 1997); PLP and MBP levels are reduced (Sorg et al., 1986; Li et al., 2000) and suggest that QKI proteins are directly involved in the regulation of RNA metabolism of myelin components. A balance among the different QKI isoforms likely regulates myelination.
