Multiplex immunostaining for markers of tumor-infiltrating leukocytes (CD4, CD8, CD20, CD45RO, and FoxP3) revealed an association between an anti-tumor immune response and Meflin expression in cancer-associated fibroblasts in human non-small cell lung cancer treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
