ALK^F1174L oncogene promotes the formation of cutaneous SCC in mice. The addition of Kras^G12D allele results in a more aggressive form of cSCC associated with an increased EMT process. Co-immunostaining of such tumors with vimentin (red), a mesenchymal marker, and pan-cytokeratin (green), a marker of epithelial cells, is shown.
