Life Science Alliance publishes high quality research results across all areas in the life sciences and in biomedical research. Life Science Alliance is founded in partnership between EMBO Press, Rockefeller University Press, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press.
Life Science Alliance is committed to the rapid, fair, transparent, and open-access publication of quality research papers on new results including negative and refuting data, as well as important confirmatory data, resources such as datasets, screens, and new methods from the full spectrum of life science and biomedical research. Manuscripts are critically evaluated for advance and importance of the findings to the specific field and strong evidence for the conclusions that are drawn. Life Science Alliance welcomes submission in the following biological processes, investigated at any level of organization (from the structural and molecular to the organismal) and in any model system:

Life Science Alliance publishes the following article types:
Research Articles, Methods, Resources, and Follow Ups - Original research papers, reporting valuable findings in the life sciences. These articles are peer reviewed. A Follow Up allows publication of work directly related to the authors’ previous work published in Life Science Alliance.
Correspondence (peer reviewed) - Correspondence concerning the validity of data or its interpretation in articles published in Life Science Alliance.
Editorials - Policies, news, and comments. Not peer reviewed.
